PLATE opened quietly, amidst so many new cafe’s popping up, this fine dining will soon turn into a South Delhi Staple because of the extra slice of quality they serve.
Marut Sikka’s new restaurant with a modern whimsical them has every corner that is worth your Instagram. As soon as you step in, the aesthetics of this place will sweep you off your feet.
Our meal included,
Burmese fish curry:- Red Snapper was slow-cooked in a thick textured Burmese curry and served on a bed of sticky rice with sauté vegetables. I was in love with the plating and presentation only until I took the first bite. The food was as palatable as it could be and made my tastebuds overly excited.
Grilled chicken with pan-seared sauce and sauté veggies:- While the chicken was grilled and succulent, the sauce was cooked to perfection and the veggies (perfectly sautéed) to go with the meat. The portion was quite appetising and wholesome.
Margherita Pizza:- A meal is never complete without pizza. The Margherita was loaded with cheese and freshly topped with basil. I would personally recommend a glass of Moscow Mule to go with the cheesiness.
Pasta:- I ordered two to make your own pasta bowls. In one I had spaghetti with béchamel sauce with sweet corn and peppers and the other was a spicy Penne Arabiatta. I must tell you the sauces were rich in taste, had perfect texture and plating could not have been better.
Also, the Chef specialises in pan Asian cuisine so I must recommend you to go with the dim sum and sushi platter as well.
