Tibetan Woollen Market in Sector 52 of Gurgaon comes to life in the coldest months of Delhi NCR, it usually starts in the end of November and goes on until January end or mid-February. The majority of people who sell here are from Tibet or neighbouring regions.
It isn't a large area, with only 40 to 50 stalls in a tented ground, you can easily cover the market within an hour or two even if you have some serious shopping to do. Everything you find is fairly priced with a strict no-bargaining policy. You get joggers starting at INR 700 and the warmest jackets (the ones that have fur inside) for only INR 1500. There's also an extensive collection of mufflers, shawls, ponchos, snuggly socks and beanies — basically all your winter needs will be sorted at this place and will simultaneously result in helping local artisans rather than power housing fast fashion brands.
