Find Bulb Shaped Bottles, iPhone Erasers & More Cool Stuff At Karol Bagh's Basement Market

What Makes It Awesome

Karol Bagh is a gem that keeps giving and this time, it is winning for its tip top basement market (yep, that’s the name) full of stunning home decor and cool accessories like bottles, trays, mugs and stationery. The best part about this place is that it’s big enough to give you ample options to choose from but you won’t get lost or be tired by the time you’ve browsed through the entire market (like Pallika Bazaar). The goods on sale are pretty affordable too. Here’s what all you can score here.

Slay your sleep with morning (or midnight) coffee in this super cool revolver mug (INR 350) or buy this set of skull-shaped shot glasses (INR 600) for your next lit house party. They also have the plain elegant white tea-cups starting at INR 100 if you’re going for the whole English high-tea look.

Almost every shop in the Tip Top market has its own collection of unique, funky bottles that’ll make you want to discard the boring old plastic bottles at home right away. We love the super cute bulb bottles (INR 80) and the steel and glass bottles  in pretty patterns and bright colours (starting at INR 100). In case you want to revamp your kitchen storage containers, check out the glass jars wrapped in coir/jute threads here with a base price of INR 150.

For the true liquor connoisseurs, Tip Top market has numerous shops selling sets of bar tools like steel corkscrew openers, champagne cork pullers, hawthorn strainer and the like starting at a price of INR 3,000. We also found cute beer mug bottle openers for INR 90 and check out the fancy liquor dispenser and wine glass set that can be the conversation starter at any dinner party.

We love knick-knacks and Rehman Traders in Tip Top market has lots of those to make you want to buy errrything! We found iPhone erasers (INR 60) the size of our palm(!) and 100 rupee note pouches (INR 40) among many other cool things like glow in the dark balls, mike karaoke machine and printed playing cards napkins (INR 50) that you probably might never want to use.

Aren't you excited?

Pro-Tip

Both prices and collections vary here, so make sure that you browse through all the shops before buying anything.

Due to the current situation, the market isn't currently open.
