Ever since it opened, we’ve always known that Haus Khaz Village’s Keralite gem, The Toddy Shop, was going to go places, and it’s already begun with our very own #Gurugram.
In case you haven’t tried the restaurant already, The Toddy Shop has been modelled along the lines of a kallu shaap—local establishments in Kerala which serve some of the best food along with fresh toddy. Expect plates of Syrian Christian moilees and ishtoos, Moplah biryanis from the Malabar region, and a whole range of fresh, light and healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Our personal favourite is the uber spicy buff fry. The Gurgaon outlet currently only offers takeaway and delivery options, so we’d recommend bookmarking it for one of those nights you want to stay away from the kitchen.
