Shortcut

Habitare Hotel is essentially a Japanese expat hotel, so their signature restaurant, Tokyo, is as real as it gets.

Straight To Tokyo

If you’re looking for a quick but wholesome meal, opt for the combos which come with salad, miso soup and gohan {sticky Japanese rice}. The Buta Garikko Setto is the best of pork and garlic {both things we love}. However, if you prefer a lighter meat, try the Chicken Teriyaki Setto {the teriyaki sauce here is delicious!}.

The seafood and fish options here are awesome, especially if you enjoy mackeral and prawns. Since they serve tenderloin too, you can call this place a meat lover’s paradise.

Just a heads up – there aren’t many vegetarian options!

Soup, Sushi & Soba

You can’t go to Tokyo and not eat sushi; we loved the Tekka Maki, Tuna Fish Rolls and the Futto Maki which was a mix of egg, spinach, carrot and mushrooms and surprisingly good for a vegetarian sushi roll.

The menu is neatly segmented into Soup, Salad, Tempura, Ramen, Soba and Udon and that together is a massive feast. The not-to-be missed dishes are Prawn Tempura Udon, Seafood Ramen, Yaki Soba (which is vegetarian) and the Tori Karaage which is their version of Fried Chicken.

So, We're Saying...

Don’t miss a meal at Tokyo, more than the food, the pricing is fantastic, food takes a bit of time but it’s totally worth the wait! They need a good dessert menu though!
