14 Dog-Friendly Cafes & Restaurants In Goa To Dine At With Your Pupper

One of our favourites in Assagao, North Goa, Gunpowder is home to many furry friends. The last time we visited, they had in-house doggos, both super curious and friendly. The delicious food and cocktails aside, you can have your pet tag along  as  the staff is warm and friendly. Just make sure your accompanying fur balls are well-behaved!

Located close to the Reis Magos Fort, the restaurant has picturesque views of the beach and the sunset. Babazin’s limited menu is full of lip-smacking seafood that you can get based on availability. Better still, you can have your pet tag along while you gorge on the delicious prawn curry that is amongst the popular choices there.

Located in Porvorim, Jungle Cafe makes some finger-licking Goan food. And if their chorizo and prawns tempura were not enough, they’ve even more reasons to dote over them. They are pet-friendly, and you’re welcome to bring your furry companion along for an outing!

Nestled in the countryside of Parra, Barefoot is a cute culture space where you can sip on delicious coffee, work, all while having great company with your furry pal. The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, both for the patrons and their pets. Plus, it is easy on the pocket too!

A casual dining spot that’s located in Cavelossim, South Goa, the restaurant has a lovely ambience and some delicious food. The chicken quesadilla and pesto chicken are among our absolute favourites here. The restaurant is also known for being super pet-friendly, so you can easily have your canine companions follow you around.

There’s something about eating authentic Goan food in a chef’s backyard because of the care and knowledge that goes into making the all-famous cafreal and shark ambotik, or the oldest, closest-to-home version of prawn rissoles, makes it worth every penny. Add to this the fact that Chef Peter’s lets you bring your furry friends to the party, and we say it's a deal too sweet to pass up.

Often our go-to place for a hot cuppa and a mezze platter, this one’s always happy to let our doggos accompany us as we work/eat/chill out of here. The best part about Mojigao is that it envelopes you in a lush jungle and offers the freshest smoothie bowls and juices so both you and your furry pal can catch your cool on a sultry Goan afternoon.

This new all-day brekkie spot in Benaulim has been making all the news thanks to its chill feels and awesome crepes. Whether you’re a breakfast person, a live gig person, a bar person or a dog person, this new pupper-friendly cafe should be on your radar.

While we need a whole day to gush about Bean Me Up’s all-vegan menu, we will not forget that we can enjoy all of these pizzas with vegan cheese, avo toasts, curry meals and kinds of pasta with our doggies hanging and begging for a bite every second of the meal. One of the most exhaustive healthy menus in Goa, cosy garden seating and other guests’ pets for extra cuddles - could you really ask for more?

You’ll often spot us at Tereza Beach House brunching on the weekends (late breakfast, anyone?). This tropical nook, perched by the beach, often lures us and our doggos in with live music and great seafood. When here, we recommend ordering off their Granny's yum specialities and delving into their European cuisine.

This lesser-known but well-loved rooftop restaurant in Sangolda has a rather funky menu and deserves to be on your list of places to eat at if you’re travelling to Goa with your pup. With some interesting spin on fries, wings, golgappas, sandwiches and the usual cafe suspects, it promises to win you over with some Modern European fare. You can thank us if you love the cocktails too.

Larder and Folk is an artisanal bakery and coffee shop in Panaji. It is a neighbourhood favourite, and beyond, and rightly so because their sandwiches and other brunch offerings are totally unmissable. Even the location would amuse both you and your pet, as it is nestled in the vibrant Old Fountainhas.
