Nothing beats curling up with a book while biting into your favourite chocolate bar or munching on choco-nutty flakes. If you are a fan of dark chocolate, like me, you will absolutely love this artisanal bean to bar gourmet chocolate brand based out of Ahmedabad. Say hello to Toska Chocolates, the brainchild of engineer turned chocolatier, Ishan Pansuria.
These crafted chocolates are made with fresh fruits, berries, nuts, authentic cocoa and even flowers! Try out unique flavours from their beans to bar range such as rose-saffron, ginger, smoked salt-crystallised sugar, black grape-walnut, Madagascar, biscuit-berry, cranberry white-chocolate-each priced at around INR 300. Our new favourite is the Biscuit and Berry Dark Chocolate bar and the Maple Syrup coated Chocolate Truffles that have a good flavour of guess guess--- Chai Masala!
I also love the classic hot cocoa mix, chocolate almond flakes that are roasted almonds dipped in dark chocolate and the cranberry quartzite. The dried cranberries coated with dark chocolate add a nice tartness to the chocolate. Although, if indulgence is what you're after, the hazelnut balls and elixirs are my picks. They're basically buttery spreads that you can dip your food in or use for making thick shakes and ice-creams.
