I hated the idea of harming the earth only to smell good (even though I really love smelling nice) so I went looking for an eco-friendly solution. That’s when I found TreeWear online; their deodorants are 100% natural that protect the skin from bacteria with minimal impact on the environment.
The deodorants come in 4 different scents - citrus, spice, forest and herbal. I picked up the herbal infusion with lavender as its base; it was pretty long-lasting and I liked how it’s been made by Indian artisans. It was a little pricey for the size but for every product sold, TreeWear is planting one tree which is an initiative I’d definitely be willing to pay extra for. I’m also a compulsive buyer and lip balm hoarder so I got the beeswax lip balm with orange and cinnamon. I generally prefer tubes over tins but I liked it, maybe not enough to repurchase when I run out.
