What Is It?

The Silk Fab exhibition-cum-sale at the Constitution Club Of India, where you can find swathes of beautiful silk saris and dress materials from 15 Indian states. In fact, you'll find great variety across both saris and home decor—think bedsheets, cushion covers, dupattas, and even quilts in silk, chiffon and georgette.

Looking for a sari? You'll fin Banarasi brocade, Mysore and Bangalore woven and printed silks, kantha stitch Bengal silks, Bhagalpuri printed silks, some Chanderi, and more at a fraction of the cost we’re used to expecting at stores we frequent.

Who Is It For?

Everyone who takes pride in wearing traditional weaves; we’re looking at the arty-farty, the suave wedding attender and the saree crusader waging a war against factory-made.

Why Should I Go For It?

The National Handloom Development Corporation Ltd. has done a fabulous job of collecting gifted craftsmen, including national awardees, samitis and State-funded agencies, who are known for their products and aren't over-the-top expensive. There are about 100 different handloom brands to pick from, some of them with discounts, too.

The benefits of your purchases then go directly to the people who create these beautiful saris; there are no middlemen hiking the prices, making you reconsider buying handlooms.
