Udaipur World Music Festival: From France, Spain, Ghana and More

What is it?

Udaipur World Music Festival, presented by Hindustan Zinc in association with Wonder Cement and Rajasthan Tourism, will be hosting a city-wide, multi-venue music festival to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between Spain and India. It will be cutting across several genres of music to bring together over 100 global artists, and ensembles from more than 12 countries—including Spain, Ghana, Venezuela, Italy, France and India, amongst many others.

Who is it for?

Conceptualised and produced by SEHER, it is designed to cater to music lovers of course, cutting across barriers of age. If you want to experiment with, or learn about, different kinds of music from across the world, this is the perfect mix of genres. Also, it makes for the perfect weekend getaway!

Why should I go for it?

Completely free of cost, you can sample the music of The Raghu Dixit Project, Papon, Fado Singers from Portugal, Mathias Duplessy {French composer} who’ll collaborate with Mukhtiyar Ali from Rajasthan, and so much more. Flamenco by Tamara and Fernando as well as Grammy winner from Ivory Coast, Dobet Gnahore will enthral you.
