What Makes It Awesome

I won't say a salad bar is a new concept in Delhi, but someone who does it properly is rare. The brainchild of Riti Gupta and Sanskriti Gupta, UnCafe is a farm-to-table concept which means all their ingredients are sourced from locally-owned farms in Delhi NCR.

They have a vegetarian-only menu with a few vegan options as well. If you thought salad couldn't be the main dish (just like I did) the 'build your own bowl' will have you corrected - you get to pick the base of your salad, a protein, 5 veggie toppings  (fresh hydroponics available), a crunch, in house dressings (over 15 options) and 2 exotic toppings, you could stop here or go on to add cheeses (feta, burrata, etc), fillers (conch pasta, mixed rice, etc), superfoods (hemp seeds, prunes, etc) - it's filling, nutritious, yummy and best of all, doesn't leave you feeling guilty at the end of it. Now if you're someone who's likely to get confused ordering at Subway, they also have a variety of already set salad bowls for your soul!

Other than the salad range, they have an extensive menu offering quick bites, smoothies (the berry smoothie is our fav), open sandwiches (if you like mushroom and garlic try Shroom-ed) and wraps. Coffee lovers should definitely order the Spanish latte which comes in three parts - the frozen espresso cubes, milk and condensed milk as a sweetener. Last but not the least, for something sweet the salted caramel eclair has our heart, they also have a vegan chocolate tart that's worth trying.

They've opened a shiny new outlet at Select CityWalk Saket, deliver to multiple locations in Delhi and have a cloud kitchen in Gurgaon - so where ever you are, you don't have an excuse not to eat nutritious and good food!
