For a dose of filmy entertainment at prices that won’t have you digging too deep into those pockets, check out these cinema halls with cheap movie tickets priced under INR 200!

However, we suggest that you take a friend (or more) along when you head to these cinema halls. We also recommend that you book tickets at one of these halls only if you're short on cash and really do want to watch a particular movie. Also, mask up!

Delite Cinema, Chandni Chowk

Before multiplexes came into being (and there WAS such a time), Delite Cinema was the go-to theatre for all movie buffs. It’s recently been renovated, but still maintains its heritage look along with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Dolby Atmos sound system.

PVR Naraina

A little birdy tells us that if you head to PVR Naraina on a weekday for a morning or afternoon show, you can score tickets for as low as INR 150. We do recommend calling them in advance and checking though, as this varies from movie to movie.

Amba Cinema, Kamla Nagar

Started in 1963, Amba Cinema is a large single screen cinema. With about five shows a day, you have ample opportunities to catch a movie. Their balcony tickets cost around INR 170 but their Rear and Middle Stall tickets cost INR 130 and INR 75 respectively.

Spice Cinemas, Noida

This used to be a staple for Noida peeps and is still very much in operation. With tickets prices as low as INR 150 (we’re talking morning and afternoon shows), it’s quite the steal. If you’re lucky, you may even get recliner seats at bargain prices.

PVR EDM, Ghaziabad

Another dear PVR to the rescue. PVR EDM Ghaziabad, located in the East Delhi Mall, has morning tickets as cheap as INR 100, with evening shows at around INR 170. As per usual with PVRs you should call in advance to make sure the movie you want to see is that cheap (international films can be more expensive).

Shiela Cinema, Paharganj

With balcony seats going for INR 150 (they have seats available for INR 175 if you’re feeling like a spendthrift), Shiela Cinema is a good cheap option in Paharganj. Even their snacks from the food counter are relatively cheap, especially according to current cinema snack rates.

Carnival Cinemas: Star X, Ghaziabad

Star X had us at tickets priced at INR 100 and INR 200 (for night shows). However, they only screen Hindi movies, so if you’re looking to catch the latest movie, we suggest going to the other theatres on this list.

Grand Cinema, Gurgaon

If you’re on Sohna Road then you should hit up the Grand Cinema at Raheja Mall for a budget movie option. Their Standard, Classic and Premium tickets all go for as little as INR 150. Evening show tickets are a little pricier, coming in at INR 200.

Liberty Cinema, Karol Bagh

A Karol Bagh landmark, this is one of those old-school movie halls that have still managed to maintain the cleanliness and service, while also keeping the price as minimal as possible. The ticket prices here start at INR 85 for the lower seats, and go up to INR 205 for the best ones. They keep a good mix of Bollywood blockbusters and international releases.
