I Say Organic

I Say Organic

I Say Organic, is a food brand that is all about providing the best quality produce that isn’t only affordable but is profitable for farmers. Founded by Ashmeet Kapoor and run by Aakanksha Kapoor, I Say Organic really reflects the brother-sister duo's vision in wanting to make it easier for customers to eat healthily and responsibly. Not only do they pay the utmost attention to what their customers eventually purchase, but they also keep in mind their farmer partners, ensuring they too get fair prices for their products and are able to build their businesses profitably. They have snacking options and farm produce, so expect everything with a bit of a twist. Like an aloo bhujia, but a different kind! Plus, traditional Indian snacks and healthy bars. They've also got a new pancake and waffle mix which is fantastic!

Diti

If you're looking for gorgeous art that is more than just art, then Diti is for you. Founded by Diti Mistry, who's on a sustainability mission, this brand collects waste fabric from local tailors, boutiques, weavers and block printers to gloriously upcycle them into pieces of art. Unique doesn't even begin to describe the aesthetic. It started out with Diti making elaborate neckpieces with Indian fabric -- think ajrakh scraps and tassels layered with wooden beads and buttons or intricately wound jute pendants, to now, home decor pieces that are fierce, bold and include bullheads.

For Earth's Sake

For Earth's Sake, DLF Phase - 4, Gurgaon

For Earth's Sake, based in Gurgaon, is a zero-waste store-cum-cafe (also available to shop online) and we love the range of reusable stainless steel and copper bottles. They also have everything from bamboo and metal straws, toothbrushes also made from bamboo, and vegan soaps too, which are coconut oil based soaps. Candles, razors, stationery, organic pulses, grains, eco-friendly laundry detergent, shampoos and more can also be shopped thanks to this brand. That too all zero-waste and sustainable!

Vahdam Teas

Vahdam Teas

This home-grown brand procures tea directly from local plantations and tea growers across the country, and what makes them even better is that they are organic and super fresh. Not only do they have the usual suspects including green, ginger and chamomile, but they also stock Chamomile Mint Citrus Green Tea that we love for its fresh and zingy lemongrass notes, the Japanese Matcha blend and herbal superfoods too. Try their Turmeric and Ashwagandha bags, and the Turmeric Mushroom Latte mix too.

Phool

A wonderful concept that believes in recycling, and reusing, in a different avatar, Phool is an innovative brand that goes about collecting floral waste from temples, mosques and anywhere else to then recycle it into incense, vermicompost and biodegradable packaging material. With the help of women 'flowercyclers', they sell these products to the market and in the process save almost 8 tons of floral waste from being dumped in the Ganges on a daily basis. In addition to saving the environment from pollution - in many forms - we love that the brand provides employment to women too! Some of the fragrances are lavender, eucalyptus, Indian rose, lemongrass, orange and plenty more. They also have incense cones, essential oils and wellness packs.
