Yogific, a brand that combines its love for vegan and yoga by organising fun festivals abroad is finally coming to Delhi. Their inventively curated yoga and vegan festival will have a day of food, shopping, music and yoga sessions for an offbeat Sunday outing.
Vegan Cakes, Cruelty-Free Shoes & Yoga Classes: Welcome Delhi's First Vegan & Yoga Festival!
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
Want to eat food that’s good for you and the environment but don’t believe that pasta or a glass of cold coffee can be vegan and yum? Or just someone wondering if you’re fit enough to join a yoga class? You can all test the waters here.
We think it’s a great place to score vegan bags and funky yoga mats {or buy Mad Buddha’s cool tees}. So shoppers, plan a day out with your food and music loving folks.
Why Should I Go For It?
We’re kicked that it’s happening for the first time in the city and there’s Astanga yoga, hatha yoga, pranayam and live music through the day.
Yoga not your jam? Hear this: There’s vegan dal makhani and shahi paneer and truckloads of other brands selling yoga gear, cruelty-free cosmetics, vegan bags and shoes {bye bye leather} and dairy free desserts. You can also sign up for an impromptu gong bath or beginner’s yoga or just shop and eat all the good stuff.
We hear there’ll be a whole vegan cuisine spread with Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese and Indian so, you can legit OD on ice creams {White Cub’s going to be here} and cupcakes and then, undo the guilt at the hall that’s specifically reserved for back-to-back yoga and meditation sessions. Yogific is flying down teachers who’ll be a part of the festival just so you can learn to calm your frazzled nerves every time life’s throwing lemons {pro yoga teachers, yay!}.
Also, it’s kid-friendly thanks to the carnival type feel it’s going for. Family Sunday then?
Anything Else?
The market will have the stalls clustered under one carnival tent while the yoga and meditation sessions will happen in a big hall.
The entry is INR 100 per person but you can get yourself a VIP pass that’ll allow you to ethically cut through the entry queue and get you a vegan goodie bag to take back.
