If you are looking to chill in a scenic location, then Achalgarh fort is worth the visit. Situated around 11 kilometers from Mount Abu, the fort was built during the Paramara Dynasty's reign and later, renovated and named Achalgarh Fort.

What Makes It Awesome

If you're a sucker for on-foot exploration you'll love spending time at this humongous fort. There is a famous Shiv temple called Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple and Mandakini Lake within a close proximity to the fort. Ideally, the best time to plan a trip there is around March or November. Since it's a hill station, you won't have to worry about it getting too hot.

What Could Be Better

The fort isn't in the best of conditions, so we wish that it was preserved better.

Trying staying at The Fern Ratan Villas as it's only about 10 minutes away from the fort, and is also a wonderful place to stay at.
