What Is It?

The Woodpecker International Film Festival {WIFF} is back with its fifth edition and this time they’re screening 77 different films shortlisted from across 15 different countries over a period of four days at the Siri Fort Auditorium. As a part of their Cinema for Change initiative, the CMSR Foundation is hosting this internationally acclaimed festival popular for its promotion of issue-based documentaries, short films and feature lens films.

This year, the festival will screen films of renowned filmmakers like Sir David Attenborough, national-award winners like Akanksha Sood, Nandan Saxena and Kavita Bahl, to name a few. From exploring the lives of African Footballers in India to highlighting the exploitation in the name of caste and also embracing stories of change, the festival will provide a unique opportunity for you to delve into cultures, stories and perspectives.
