What Makes It Awesome?

A homemaker spreading her love to feed via an Instagram handle is many layers of entrepreneurial wins. Kusuma, the powerhouse behind Mood, a takeaway service in Vasant Vihar, knocks it out of the park with her home-cooked meals.

I tried the Tingmo and smoked pork the first time {pillowy buns which survive the microwave and fatty delish pork}, went back for the momos {pork and bacon - do you sense a pattern?} and I reckon I will be in the queue many Friday nights. The meals are wholesome, delish, and replete with special touches, be it the gorgeous flakey biscuits {khapse}, rustic mustard-y aloo ko achaar or the naughty tomato chutney. The packaging is tidy with an endearing post-it note, and unless one is super hungry, the quantity is enough for two.

What Could Be Better?

The service is pre-order + takeaway only and needs a little bit of planning.
