Nestled into a quiet corner in Sector 15, Lawn Bistro has been around for years but we only managed to make a trip recently. Gotta say, the smallish outdoor area is great for a date and the pizzas and bar menu ensure that the conversations flow easy.

Grab A Seat Outdoors

Blame it on being old or on people’s general pickiness but a lot of mixed reviews later, we decided to approach Lawn Bistro as a fresh slate. Our personal experience turned out pretty neat. The few dishes we ordered made the cut, the indoors were cool and comfy and the service, unobtrusive. Since we were oddly quite full on the afternoon we visited, we had to stick to a vegetarian pizza and chicken lollipop. Pizza Verde was hot and cheesy and the lollipop was slightly saltier than we’d have liked but we polished it off nevertheless. From what we figure, foodies love their white sauce pasta, cheesy nachos and the desi fare in the form of paneer tikka and biryani. If you’re smart, you’ll too stick to the holy trinity aka dal-naan-murg and pair it with whiskey or cocktails. Add to that a seat outdoors and you’re in for a great outing. The menu is a healthy mix of cuisines with Italian, Continental, Indian and Chinese. Your tastebuds won’t be treated to anything revolutionary here… Just salads and soups, tikkas and Thai curry, noodles and nachos and more. The runway stars, however, will be the hookah and cocktails. If bae’s a teetotaler you can toast to the yummy cold coffee and perhaps share a Bistro Sundae {the loaded party in a glass with roasted nuts, brownie bits, strawberry syrup and vanilla ice cream} to end the date on a sweet note.

So, We're Saying...

If you guys are lucky, you might catch the restaurant with live music.
