Dilli Haat's Hosting An Organic Fest: Score Organic Ice Creams, Herbs & Linen

What Is It?

The Union Ministry of Women & Child Development is organising the third edition of the Women of India Organic Festival at Dilli Haat where women entrepreneurs from across India will sell organic goods including food, wellness, personal care, home improvement, kitchen composters and solar products.

Who Is It For?

For people who love organic products or those who wish to make a lifestyle change, there’s no better place to shop from as the Women of India Organic Festival will see more than 500 women entrepreneurs selling organic items such as cosmetics, homemade pickles and jams, organic ice creams, essence oils, hair care, bath & beauty, aromatherapy products, organic cotton fabrics, linens, organic seeds and other bio products.

Why Should I Go For It?

One obvious reason why you should definitely head to the Women of India Organic Festival is that you can stock up on organic jaggery, red rice, sauces and dips, rosemary scrub soaps, rock salt, wild lime shampoos and more products that are anyday better than similar goods produced with chemical fertilizers and preservatives.

Moreover, you get to choose from so many green brands all at one place and by shopping at this organic festival, you’d be supporting hoards of women entrepreneurs and farmers from remote parts of the country who’re doing something good for you and the planet.

If you’re still apprehensive about whether or not this festival is worth your time, you should know that we went there last year and were blown away by everything we saw. Since the festival was a big hit, the Ministry has extended the duration of the Festival from 10 to 15 days for this year’s edition. More time to shop, woot woot!

Anything Else?

Some of the brands that will be present at the Organic Festival this year are Pro Nature Organics, Him Fresh Organics, Aura Herbal Textiles, Sonal WhiteCub, Sutra Pure Ayurveda, Guna Organics, Nourish Organics, among many other responsible companies. Honestly, do yourself a favour and head to this festival. Thank us later.
