Among a whole string of cool cafes catering to university students, The Vintage Avenue stands out for its size and different types of seating options. It’s also one place where you get everything from a crazy shake to a potent cocktail and 10 plus pages of food options to pick from.

Is Your Favourite Dish On The Menu?

It’s a bit surprising that we hadn’t given this restaurant the time of day until a friend recently visited and confirmed that it was indeed a great hangout. If you don’t take our friend’s word, take Delhi University students’ who’ve been there, eaten that.

The menu resembles that massive and awkward birthday party where none of the hosts’ guests know each other. So you find tikka sandwiches, puchka on the rocks, fajitas, aloo chaat, peri peri pasta, naanza, tandoori platters, Chinjabi, red velvet jars, shakes topped with donuts and a full bar with cocktails, pitchers and more. Oh, and did we mention hookahs?

This assorted list of randomly spotted dishes will make it clear that they’re also all for equal representation – all popular cuisines make it to their ambitious menu. In case you want to test this claim out, take the pickiest, fussiest eater you know along with the most indecisive one and see the two make sense of the options here.

We have our to-try list ready for the next time we’re in the area. You’ll probably see us with a plate of wood fired momos and naanza {a naan meets pizza}. And, a glass of thick Oreo shake or watermelon mojito.

So far so good? Now let’s tell you the only bummer, The music can get a bit too loud and conversations can get difficult.

So, We're Saying...

If you find yourself around North Campus, make a trip here. Pick from the well lit and cafe like area or the floor seating with dim lighting.

The picture perfect ambience apart, they believe in shaking things up food wise also. Their recent addition, mocktails with burger and fries towers balanced on the rim are proof that they aren’t scared to experiment. So, both, your taste buds and your Instagram feed are going to have a good time.
