Calling all freelancers, writers, creative people and those looking to step out of the comfortable confines of a home or the staid setting of an office!

Working from home has never been easy. Before we got our LBBD crib, we'd clock hours seated on a couch, at a kitchen table, or any corner of our homes that had a good WiFi connection. We would be eating breakfast at dinnertime and skip lunch altogether, and often found ourselves waking up to the bright light of the laptop screen, head on floor and legs up against the wall. But then, the 'Delhi renaissance' happened - and next thing thing we knew, there were ample cafes and restaurants offering comfort food, good tea and coffee, and most importantly - free WiFi to the wandering worker.

So if you are looking to take a 'break', step out, and switch up the space and the setting, go through our selection of cafes & restaurants that offer free WiFi and more - a snack to nibble on and coffee to sip, and an ambient setting.

We've also curated a work playlist for you. Plug it in, set up your work station, and make it happen!

Starbucks | The coffee behemoth needs no introduction; you'll find us sipping on a soy latte, snacking on a muffin, earphones plugged in, wifi zooming and working diligently- okay, sometimes. Kudos to the design team for creating a different look and feel for each of the locations. Our favourite branch is the one at Hamilton House, Connaught Place. Though, steer clear on Sunday's; the crowd overpowers the barista assembly line and the music.
