Organized by Muzaffar Ali, a filmmaker, music aficionado, artist and scion of the royal family of Kotwara, and the Rumi Foundation, Jahan-e-Khusrau is a well-known World Sufi Music Festival that happens every year at the Humayun's Tomb. It's a three-day fest that will see sufi music performances by popular artists like Murad Ali, Smita Bellur, Nooran Sisters, Saqinama by Khusravana Group, and Gurdas Maan, to name a few. Prakriti Prashant, a disciple of Kaushalya Reddy, will also be translating bhavas of Sufism to Kuchipudi.
If you're a big fan of Sufi music, this is one event that you absolutely cannot miss. Plus, sufi music performances with a backdrop of Humayun's Tomb doesn't sound like a bad deal, right?
