What Makes It Awesome?

One of Delhi’s best places for Bihari food, The Potbelly has finally made an entrance into Gurgaon’s food scene {and how!}. They’ve opened an outlet in G-Town’s 32nd Milestone in a whole new avatar called The Potbelly Divine.

While Potbelly’s Shahpur Jat and Bihar Niwas outlets are rustic and cafe-esque {the SPJ one for sure}, the one at 32nd Milestone is more like a fine dining place. Neatly upholstered cushioned chairs, pretty chandeliers, adorable succulents on each table and a bar counter are some of the things that are different at this outlet. It’s also the first Potbelly restaurant that will serve alcohol {once they get a license}.

But apart from the ambience, everything pretty much remains the same {with a few menu additions here and there}. It’s still serving the comforting Bihari food we’ve been fans of since Day 1. Potbelly favourites like Litti Chokha, Mutton Biryani, Mutton Thalis and Meat Pakoras are all still on their menu.

We tried the Chicken Pakoras with their tomato chutney {we’d buy bottles of this!} and it’s got the same ol’ simple flavours in perfect proportions that we’ll definitely come back for. If you drop by for a chai and pakora break {like we did}, order their Masala Chai too.

Their staff is also as pleasant as ever. Really, no reason why you shouldn’t drop by. Plus, there’ll be alcohol too now.

What Could Be Better?

Since we’re so used to the rustic Potbelly Cafe in Shahpur, we’re not sure if we like the more glitzy version as much. But maybe, it’s just us still holding on to the place we’ve spent our college days at.

How Much Did It Cost?

INR 1,000 - INR 3,000
