What Makes It Awesome?

I've been going to Seema Sondhi's studio for about six years, on and off. Seema, Anuska and Bindya {the yoga teachers at the studio} have taken me from being a stiff, inflexible student who could barely touch her toes, to Peacock-posing like a pro in the past. Though I haven't been as regular as I was, Seema's studio is my go-to place for yoga in the city. What I love about the studio is the teachers - all of them have a different style of teaching, and the sessions {depending on the day of the week} can go from a deep stretch to a cardio-esque session that'll have you sweating and stretching, all the while getting much stronger.

They're all super attentive, encourage you to push your limits, and also teach students about the practice of yoga along the way.

What Could Be Better?

I wish their studio becomes bigger over time; classes tend to get packed! I also hope they have slightly later classes in the near future for late workers, like myself.

What's My Pro Tip?

They've got a bunch of packages to choose from, depending on the frequency of classes you want to take. Morning classes are at 8am, evening classes at 7pm, and you can get more details from their website. They have mats as well, in case you don't have one.

Anything Else?

I do yoga along with weight training and running. If you're looking to lose weight, yoga may not be your only solution. However, if you generally lead a fit and active lifestyle, yoga is the best thing you can do for your body!
