What Makes It Awesome?

Masala Chowk, Jaipur is a famous place and has many famous cuisines of India at one Place. It is located in Ram Niwas Garden, nearby Albert Hall museum.

It can be called as Open-Air Food Court in Jaipur as well because the stalls and sitting area are under the lap of open sky. That's what makes it awesome.

I visited this with my parents, last summer and had a really good time!
Jaipur is well known for its royalty along with the food and the idea behind this Open-Air Food court is to bring all the prominent street food at one place so that a street food lover like me 😛 need not go here and there to celebrate the fondness of street food with friends, family and partner.

There are about 22 renowned stalls available here for the best of street food around the city. All these food vents offer a huge melange of street food right from the Famous Gulab Sakri, Chat, gol-gappas, Rainbow faluda, Dosa, Tea, Dal Childa and what not!

◆I had 4 things from there:

1.) Dal Childa - The one you can not find anywhere in Delhi. It's unique and the mixture of the childa is made up of 81 ingredients!

As interesting as this description sounds the childa was amazing as well. It was served with Masala chai , Imly chutney, Garlic chutney, some plain Dal makhni and a mixture of curd, imly chutney and dal makhni.

2.) Bejar Ki Roti with Ker Sangri -The thali contains garlic chutney, ker sangri ki sabzi ( yummiest acc to me ) and bejar ki roti. I must say that one roti is sufficient for 2 but as I am a foodie I ate the whole. So it was something different, but nothing over the top! You can definitely give it a try though!

3.) Bhalla chaat - I don't really remember its exact name 😶 but it was a chaat of Bhalla, sprouts, rajma and the tangiest and the tastiest chutneys and that's what made it really different and drool-worthy. Should definitely give it a try!

4.) Rainbow Faluda - Not quite sure of its name or was it just was Ice - cram Faluda. This faluda was mindblowing. It was a combination of kulfi, rabri, mango ice cream, vanilla ice cream and falooda topped with nuts, dry fruits and rooafza! Well, I had it once and feel like having it again 💯 because it's totally worth having and is very finger licking good!!

◆Entry fees - only ₹10/-
◆Free drinking water - they have a water cooler and the water is very safe to drink.
◆Timings - Mon-Sun 8:00AM to 10:30PM
