Yum Yum Cha is as vibrant, quirky and chic as it has always been {at Select Citywalk}; the good news with the new outlet at Cyber Hub, is that it is now larger.

We found it packed on a weekday evening; the food retains all the standard favourites and then some—look out for the new stuff on the menu, only at the Cyber Hub outlet.

Must Eat

Don’t miss the all-new Southern California roll inspired by the largely vegan loving population of southern California, made with soya crab and surprisingly close to the real thing. The other cool new addition to the menu are the shakes in mason jars, and we’re not talking the usual milkshakes.

Choose from vegetables, prawns, rice, noodles, and chicken with their new spice mixes, all in a jar and shake, shake, shaken into a delightful jar of nibbles. We loved the prawn and calamari. If that’s not inviting enough then, you health conscious folks need to check out the new Avocado Salad on the menu. Buttery, ripe avocado, mixed with chicken or mushroom, citrus fresh yuso dressing and filled back into the avocado shell, so it’s not just yummy but pretty too.

Before you hit the mains, or even instead of them, we say you try the Japanese Pizza, made with flour tortillas with sumptuous toppings that range from tuna, truffle, peking duck to even roasted peppers.

Must Drink

Pomegranate and Ginger Fun Bottle, Thai Orange & Kaffir Lime Fun Bottle

What We Loved

Image-1-Yum-Yum-Cha-at-Cyber-Hub-1024x681 Now, Shake Your Food And Eat It Too At Yum Yum ChaThe best part of the new Yum Yum Cha has got to be the new menu additions, makes it seem like a whole new restaurant with the same old comfortable {and delicious} vibe.

What Didn’t Impress Us

Perhaps it’s the fact that the service staff is new, but that’s one area that needs a bit of work, considering they’re packing in a crowd already.

What Is The Best Time To Visit?

Since this is a full day dining restaurant, any time is a good time to visit, after all, from sushi to takoyaki, it suffices as a snack as much as a meal.

The Shakes are a must have, for once they don’t mean dairy heavy drinks loaded with candy. They’re savoury and shaken at the table for a little extra fun before you eat!
