Shortcut

If your friends are visiting Mumbai and need a place to head to, send them over to Zostel in Andheri East for a fun stay!

What Makes It Awesome

Zostel is the most popular and loved backpacker’s hostel chain in India {and Nepal}, and the Mumbai edition of the Zostel is situated in Marol, Andheri East, and swung open doors in November 2017.

Zostel in Mumbai has a mix of rooms  – two female-only dorms and two mixed dorms. They also offer private rooms {with options for two people, double sharing and triple sharing}. As the hostel is themed around the Mumbai local, each dorm is given the identity of a real station in Mumbai such as Andheri, for example. They have two common rooms that you can spend your time in with fellow backpackers – and they come with funky walls with a running graphic novel painted on it, a makeshift blackjack table, plenty o’ board games and of course, just single-seaters with plug points if you wanna switch off and binge-watch.

If this wasn’t enough to make us want to tighten those backpack strings and take off, you should take a look at their bright and colourful rooftop area, which has been themed around Bollywood. Wrought iron charpoys, orange mattresses, bean bags and a green {rather rare} view of Mumbai await you here, as does a carrom table and more board games.

There is a cafe with breakfast included. If you require more meals, they can arrange that for you too.

Pro-Tip

No more spending through your pocket when visiting Mumbai. Just book a room with Zostel and know you’re in for a very good time.

Prices start at INR 699 for an 8-bed dorm, INR 749 for a 6-bed dorm, and private rooms start at INR 3,500 per room per night.
