Jayanagar has been one of my favourite places to go on a free day as it has a bunch of things to make your day. There are some really exciting places in this area that are worth visiting.
To start with the Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple is something that one cannot miss as it is believed that the main deity {Anjaneya Swamy} was formed from a heap of Ragi and hence named as Ragiguda. If you visit on Saturday devotees will be served with free Prasadam from the temple in the afternoon.
You can also indulge in some great shopping at this complex that is filled with options. From a variety of footwear to clothes and accessories, vanity bags to trendy sling and wallets, you will definitely get your fixe. Also try their Gobi Manchurian, cotton candy, and ice cream while shop garlands and flowers to fresh fruits and vegetables. You will find just about anything in this complex.

There is a cool joint in this area which is loved by everyone. It serves the best hot chocolate fudge, paneer and cheese sandwiches. No matter which day you visit, the crowd here will be heavy nonetheless the wait with be worth it.
Another place where you can curb your hunger is Hari Super sandwiches that serves some amazing Chocolate and American sweet corn sandwich, Dahi Toast and varieties of other sandwiches. Their cheese masala puri and bhelpuri is also famous and you must not miss trying that.
