In an endeavor to promote and preserve the Indian Classical Music, Ananda Dhwani - a not for profit organization promoting Indian Classical Music and dance is organizing a two day Whitefield Music Festival on the 18th and 19th November'2017. Whitefield Music Festival was started in 2011 with the goal of propagating Indian Classical Music and Dance in the Whitefield area. Day 1 - November 18, 2017 will start with an inauguration with Bhajan and Lighting of Lamps by Chief Guests, to be followed by Bharatnatyam & Kathak Jugalbandi by Smt. Snigdha Sinha & Smt. Richa Srivastav, Hindustani Vocal Recital by Sri Iman Das and Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi, Day 2 – November 19, 2017 will see Percussion Ensemble by Layatharanga, Vid. Ravichandra Kulur, Vid. Giridhar Udupa, Vid. Pramath Kiran, & Vid. Arun Kumar, followed by flute Recital by Pt. Pravin Godkhindi, accompanied by Pt. Ravindra Yavagal (Tabla) and will end with an unique concert by Sangeet Ratna Pt. Prabir Bhattacharya (Sitar), Pt. Abhijit Banerjee (Tabla, Kolkata) & Central Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Vidushi Sukanya Ramgopal (Ghatam).
