“NAAD NINNAD” is a stage adaptation of the musical classic, “The Sound of Music” presented by Canara Union Arts Section on Friday the 21st of April at Chowdiah Memorial Hall at 7 PM.
The 7 vivacious children singing and acting are a treat to watch.
All songs are in Konkani, set to the evergreen, original tunes.
On-stage singing accompanied by live music, ingenious stage craft and aided by clever lighting and sound effects, the play has 40-odd characters aged 5 to 75.
Uttara Nadkarni & Abhishek Nagarkar play the main roles , directed by Shashank Sanade and supported ably by Anand Nagarkar , Gautam Ubhaykar & Uday Bhatkal
