Celebrate this Dasara with an exciting, colourful and artistic display of over 250 dolls and delicious festive food only at Kesariya from September 21 to October 3, 2017. The doll exhibit will showcase an array of themes based on the life of Krishna, ten avatars of Vishnu and the victory of goddess Chamundeshwari. Apart from the dazzling array of doll display, Kesariya has introduced 3 specially curated menus for the festive season!
Living upto its tradition, this year Kesariya will be hosting its second edition of the extravagant doll display. With the popular culture prevalent in many households, this year the doll display promises to be a colourful, dazzling and creative affair.
The Dasara doll display this year is based on the theme of Krishna, which beautifully depicts the life of Krishna from birth to Vishwaroopa. The exhibit will comprise 17 scenes that will portray different chapters from Krishna’s life. It will also showcase the Dashavatara – illustrating the ten avatars of Vishnu. If you aren’t allured already, Kesariya will also showcase the popular traditional wooden dolls from Mysore and scenes from goddess Chamundeswari’s win over Mahishasura.
That’s not all! This festive season Kesariya also offers 3 varieties of specially menus. Some of the lip smacking and appetizing dishes on the menu include Apple Pakora, Shekhawati Chilli Chaat and Kalmi Vada. For main course, give your taste buds a surreal experience with Panchmele ka saag, Panchkutta and Alu Anardana and Kanji ki Pakodi. While you indulge in traditional Rajasthani fine dining- don’t forget to try the delectable apple halwa, shrikhand and Kesariya’s signature kulfi. This dasara, it’s all about reveling in festivities with your loved ones amongst an exciting and colourful display of dolls that take you back in time.
