With a perfect mix of the contemporary and the traditional, Go Swadeshi will showcase the best of collection by weavers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and North East. A wide variety of unique weaves and crafts will be on display at the exhibition. From the exquisite molkalmuru and ilkal sarees of Karnataka, vibrant Bengal Jamdanis & Tangail sarees to the subtle elegance of Maheshwaris & Chanderis, Go Swadeshi offers a range of handpicked sarees from India’s master weavers. Along with bright coloured weaves and beautiful designs, pick from an array of timeless classics like Uppada, Pochampally & Odisha Ikats, Tussar and Ilkal sarees. That’s not all! Indulge in a range of intricately embroidered dress materials from Bihar and Kashmir. Known for the intricate bead and threadwork, the Kashida embroidery portrays the vibrancy of the land of Kashmir. The exhibition will also showcase handwoven range of fabrics, home furnishings, menswear as well as women’s apparels.
