Ahmed, Punya, Siddharth, Rupen and Shridhar Brief Synopsis: An evening of standup comedy with AHMED SHARIFF Ahmed Shariff made his stellar debut in show business at the tender age of 5, when he played the role of a tree in a kindergarten play. Critics said his acting was wooden and Ahmed took it as a huge compliment. Health freak, rationalist, rapper, poet and fluent in 5 languages - Ahmed is known for his liberal mindset and socially relevant rant comedy, incorporating poetry and deliberately complex monologues. He is one of the early players in the scene and has hundreds of shows under his belt, having performed for clubs, pubs, auditoriums and corporate clients all over the country. PUNYA ARORA Punya Arora, is a South-Indian- Punjabi, a Photographer and a self proclaimed Biriyani connoisseur. Her style of comedy reflects on everyday life, encasing some amazingly funny moments and situations and a couple of accents. Filled with funnies, she loves happiness and making people laugh. RUPEN PAUL An awkward and desperate human being. Views life as pure entertainment. Specializes in his own flavor of observational humor. He has recently won the Chennai Open Mic. SIDDHARTH BANERJEE Sid realised that he had a flair for comedy when he graduated in economics and started writing research reports. The natural progression towards stand-up comedy happened after he got married. His wife gives him moral support, by not attending his shows. SHRIDHAR VENKATARAMAN A bright kid in academics with degrees from NIT Surathkal and IIM Bangalore, Shridhar is on a mission to show the world that Nerds can be funny too.
