Would love to hear more – it’s awesome.” - Marty Friedman (ex Megadeth) From being a fledgling studio project out of the late 2000's global prog-metal surge, Skyharbor rapidly established themselves as one of the leading progressive bands from the Indian subcontinent. With accolades coming in from current and former members of Lamb Of God and Megadeth. In 2012, Skyharbor band was hand-picked by Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler to support them in the Bangalore leg of their world tour. In 2014, Skyharbor was nominated in the Global Metal category at the prestigious Golden Gods Metal Awards. The band has spent most of the last 4 years travelling around the world performing at eminent festivals like Euroblast Festival (Germany), UK Tech Fest, Download Festival(UK), Dissonance Festival (Italy) and Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) to name a few. In Nov-Dec 2015 they toured 28 cities in North America & Canada with TesseracT, The Contortionist, and ERRA. In October 2016 the band will be on a 14 city headlining European/ UK tour with Sithu Aye (Scotland) and Modern day Babylon (Czech Republic). In 2013 Skyharbor swept the board at Rolling Stone Metal Awards, scoring Best Song (both critics and popular choice), Best Guitarist (Keshav Dhar), Best Band (both critics and popular choice) and Best Album (Critics choice). Their astounding double disc, debut album Blinding White Noise: Illusion and Chaos featured guest appearence by ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman, Daniel Tompkins (TesseracT), Vishal J. Singh (Amogh Symphony) and Sunneith Revankar (Bhayanak Maut). Skyharbor released their second album 'Guiding Lights' in 2014 after a successful crowd- funding campaign aiding Skyharbor to rope in Forrester Savell (SikTH, Animals as Leaders, Karnivool) for mixing and mastering. “Right now, I am very much into a band called SKYHARBOR from India” - Chris Adler (Lamb of God) ---------- Pangea ---------- Pangea is a Progressive Metal / Soundtrack / Drone outfit from Mumbai, formed in 2007. Pangea first started as ‘Orion J9 Foundation’ which was the studio project started by Akshay. Orion J9 Foundation was basically an Alternative Rock / Experimental project but eventually progressed to other genres. Pangea have been trying to combine different and weird genres together. They don’t like to be termed as a project with any one specific Genre. They just try and make music that challenges them as musicians and pushes them beyond their comfort zone. Pangea, has now progressed onto becoming an 5 piece instrumental live band and have performed at Music Festival and clubs across India. They are working on their sophomore album. --------------------------- Eccentric Pendulum --------------------------- Eccentric Pendulum is a progressive metal band based out of Bangalore, India.
