Girish Pradhan is the founder & vocalist of India's leading Hard Rock Band, Girish And The Chronicles AKA GATC. Born & brought up in Gangtok, Sikkim, Girish has grown up in a musical environment as his mother Mrs. Bimla Rai is very renowned & popular Nepali Folk Singer. He started his musical journey at a very early age of his schooling when he along with his brother, Yogesh Pradhan (Currently Bassist of GATC) started a Metal band known as Anarchy. Using old buckets and home's backyard was his practice pad.
Girish was awarded Best Rock Vocalist award by Yamaha at Yamaha Asian Beat Competition in 2011. He has received appraisal for his vocal from the Mike Tramp (White Lion) and Sebastian Bach. He along with his band has toured Europe, HongKong, Dubai, Vietnam, Thailand and most of the parts of India for Live performance.
