Orthodoxically Me- A Stand-up Comedy

Orthodoxically Me is a new stand-up comedy special by Praveen Kumar where the entire show revolves around the fact that he was brought up in a small town in an orthodox fashion and the struggles he faced to understand the culture in a big city like Bangalore after he moved there for studies. He talks about various things that he doesn't understand or doesn't relate to...like Pub culture, Smileys, Relationships, Snapchat, Social Media, Hollywood movies etc and many more. In this show he also talks about the difficulties he is facing to raise his daughter in this present western culture in Bangalore when his parents had an easy time in raising him in Kancheepuram. About Praveen : Praveen Kumar has been rated as one of the top 10 stand-up comedians in India by Times of India in 2011 and luckily for him there was no survey after that. He started getting on stage during his college days in BITS, Pilani where he was part of the MIME club. After he passed out from BITS, he wanted to do something related to comedy and so he got married. He started off his stand-up comedy career in 2009 and has performed in over 500 shows in 17 cities in India and also in Dubai. He has done shows with the famous Kapil Sharma, Vir Das, Papa CJ, Cyrus Broacha etc. He recently staged his first solo one-hour special The Tickle Minded and Kancheepuram 2 Koramangala.
