This winter what better way to relish the nip in the air than baskets of steaming dim sums and flavoursome Jasmine tea at Sriracha. Sriracha has launched a Dim Sum and Jasmine Tea Menu that serves an array of delicate, bite sized treats with fillings ranging from shrimps and scallops, chicken, lamb and pork to wild mushrooms, lotus leaf and spiced roasted pumpkin accompanied by endless jasmine tea. Try the Scallop & Shrimp Dumplings topped with tobiko and soy chilli coriander sauce, Chicken and Shitake Mushroom Dumplings with warm truffle soy broth, Lotus Leaf Wrapped Glutinous Rice with Kaffir Lime Infused Vegetables, Spinach and Turnip Dumplings with Sichuan Peppercorn Sauce and the special dim sum dessert - Dark Chocolate and Nutsin Strawberry parcels with lemongrass infused custard and crushed basil meringue to end the meal on a sweet note. Popular folklore has it that dim sums, translated as ‘touch the heart’, were created by chefs of royal courts many moons ago for Chinese emperors. The tradition of Chinese tea houses serving small plates of dim sums with tea, meant to be savoured and shared amongst family and friends, has journeyed across thousands of years to present day at Sriracha. This holiday season, Chef Vikas Seth and his team intend to touch the hearts of patrons with their fresh Dim Sum and Jasmine Tea Menu.
