Saturday April 22nd marks the first ever edition of World Record Store Day in Bangalore and The Humming Tree is teaming up with The Revolver Club to bring you a full day comprising of a one of a kind record store pop up on our terrace to celebrate. We’re inviting all vinyl collectors and those interested in starting one to come and check out our wares. Rega will also be on hand with turntables to help you set up your own little slice of record heaven at home. Things will begin at 1 pm with vinyl collectors and afficiandos, including singer/songwriter Anand Vijaysimha and Johnny Freer of Polly Wants a Cracker, on hand to chat about all things vinyl, and a wide array of records to purchase and add to your own collection. We’ll also have a space set up where you can bring any records from home that you may wish to exchange with others. From 5-6pm we’ll have a special hour long listening session curated by the boys of Pravaaz, who will be playing out Record Store Day After Party with Spud in the Box 1-6 pm Revolver Club Pop Up Record Store 3-5 pm Record Swap with other vinyl lovers 5-6 pm Listening Session with Parvaaz
