Rs. 500 cover - Available at the gate. -------------------- The Ritornellos -------------------- The Ritornellos is a rock n roll band comprising of Ananda Sen and Avinash Chordia (both formerly of The Supersonics), on guitar/vocals and drums, respectively. They're joined by Roheet Mukherjee (Ganesh Talkies) on bass, along with Ritaprabha Ray (guitar) and Nicholas Rixon (guitar/vocals). Based in Calcutta, the band has been working on material for over a year and is fresh off their debut festival at NH7 Weekender, Shillong. Plans for a January 2017 tour are already in the pipeline and former chief sound engineer at Maida Vale Studios (BBC Radio), Miti Adhikari, is onboard to produce their debut album. Their tunes are characterized by dual harmonies and weaving guitar sections, all held together by a crisp, unwavering rhythm division. With songs written by Ananda Sen and Nicholas Rixon, The Ritornellos plan on bringing their brand of rock n roll to venues across the country and beyond. ------------------------- Stuck in November ------------------------- Gentle and savage by turns, Stuck In November sounds like the soundtrack to watching a sped-up film of flowers opening up. Most music contrived from rock, or pop, following a set number of bars, and basic cheesy chord changes, guitar solos and boring vocal melodies with meaningless lyrics, probably caused the sound of this band, because we’d like to do anything far from that. You might feel a tingle in parts of your brain, you never knew were there to begin with. Stuck in November is a three piece (6 piece sounding) musical act based out of Bangalore, India. Their genre could be vaguely classified as ‘Mind-bending party rock music’.
