After hearing about Biryani Cafe from a friend, we finally decided to go and check out some food from this place. Do not expect much from the ambience of the place as it is a very small restaurant with a few tables and chairs that could accommodate around 30ish people at once.
Coming to the food, we were told that they do not add any kind of a taste enhancer or msg to their food and that each and every spice powder is specially made by them itself. So most of the dishes we tried were suggested by the management itself and I must say I'm glad we opted for those.
Started off with Pepper Chicken Ghee Roast which was light and delicious. Then came my absolute favourites i.e. chefs special Boneless Chicken and Biryani Cafe Special Chicken Fry which were finger licking good. We thought of trying a vegetarian starter as well and went in for the Paneer 65 that was different and tasty.
Kotthu Paratha happens to be one of their specialities and we had to try it and it was made to perfection with just the right amount of spices.
For the main course we obviously wanted to have biryanis and we have suggested a side dish each for the biryanis that just complimented so well. Basmati rice biryani with Chettinad chicken and Donne biryani with Andhra Chilli Chicken.
It was a perfect lunch for us with such delicious food! This one is truly a hidden gem in Bangalore.
