What Makes It Awesome?

A drive in the morning to the outskirts to this pollution less and picturesque location is worth it on a weekend. Kommaghatta is a place off Kengeri on Mysore Road, more known for the Kommaghatta Lake, which is well maintained and small scale fishing takes place here. Kommaghatta Lake has beautiful scenery all around and with very fewer vehicles and any other pollution, it is very plausible for refreshing one's mind. A Jog around the lake or at least a walk gives in good and fresh vibes.

After all the jogging, here we come for hogging😂
Just near the gate of the Kommaghatta Lake, we see a huge Banyan Tree, under that lies a small makeshift place which serves amazing Breakfast. Locals call it the Kommaghatta Idli Hotel. One arrives here for hot and soft idlis, spicy Chitranna or Lemon Rice and lips smacking Pulav. Lemon rice is a fantastic delicacy here. A tinge of citrus with the rice being seasoned with turmeric is amazing. Batches and batches of them are made to cater to the demand. Pulav has subtle masala and the flavour is of good old local style.
