Pups Aboard! Time to FINALLY take that trip, without leaving your little doggo or cat behind, thanks to Akasa Air. The airline, owned by the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and aviation industry stalwart and current CEO, Vinay Dube, is going to be taking booking for pets that are not service animals, starting October 15. The special fliers can start taking their flights from November 1. While Air India, Spice Jet, Jet Airways and even Vistara do allow animals, Akasa Air will allow them as cargo and in the cabin too. While little information about the pricing, or how to book your pet a flight, or even if there are any other restriction, terms and conditions have been released, we’ll be back with all the details.
