Let's face it. We all need a Lady Whistledown (Bridgerton reference in case you're living under a rock) who would tell us EXACTLY what celebrities, influencers, founders, movers, and shakers have in their little black book. So, we took on the challenge and chatted with the one-and-only Alicia Souza. You've to be living off the grid to not know Alicia, her love for all things chips & crisps, her lil one Oliver's love for bananas, and of course, her adorable pooch, Charlie. From her comics and illustrations about her everyday life to her cool merchandise, Alicia's Instagram feed and life are an inspiration for one and many. We made it extra easy for you to take inspiration from Alicia, from banana chips to pencil sharpeners, read on to find out a few of her 'recent' favourite things...

Brush Pen From Pentel

If I had to be left with one pen, this would be it. I use it a good 90% of the time and it’s my favourite. I bought mine years ago when it wasn’t available in India and it’s still running beautifully.

Pencil Sharpener From Chrome

It's a nice old-school type sharpener. Does the job well and it’s cute.

Desk Vacuum From TiHoo

I didn’t think this would work as well as it did. I use it ALL the time. It obviously is for tiny desk clean-up jobs but I use it for random other little vacuum spots. Again, not very powerful but useful (especially if you eat snacks at your desk. Oops!)

Pro-Tip: Tihoo is currently unavailable on Amazon, but we found a similar option.

Olie Set From Elfin House

I have to throw one baby thing in. It is my favourite clothing set for my little guy and it is just a coincidence that they share a name. Very very cute!

Quilts From Purkal Stree Shakti

A lovely NGO in Uttarakhand that makes beautiful handmade quilts with appliqué and hand embroidery and in the process empowers underprivileged village women. Their quilts make for wonderful custom gifts.

Shreya Dress From S24 Parganas

Okay, full disclosure, they sent me the dress and I loved it soooo much that I’ve been raving about it since. The brand works with very marginalised hand embroiderers (who do a beautiful job).

Tees From March Tee

Possibly my favourite plain tee that I have in a few colours and am really tempted to buy in every colour. The sleeves are a perfect fit and it’s lovely cotton.

Feed A Dog In Need Food Pack From HUFT

I thought this was the sweetest thing. It’s basically a very inexpensive meal in a pack that’s great to keep in your car or when you travel around and if you see a stray dog in need.

Banana Chips From A1 Chips

How could I not mention my favourite chips? The best ones are the ones got from their place of origin — Coimbatore — but I’ve never tasted a banana chip (of theirs) that I didn’t like.

Ok since we’re on snacks, these are really really good.

I pretty much feel like eating this now and it’s very very good. Their orange chocolate cake is also one of my favourites and I can totally eat that right now too.
