While Bangalore's summers and weather in general are nothing like Chennai, we're glad that Amadora Bangalore is pretty much like Amadora Chennai – expanding and offering some delightful flavours. Their newest ice cream parlour (the second in the city after its UB City kiosk) is located in HSR Layout and it's a cute space that works out great to have your ice cream on the go or those late-evening ice cream dates with your SO or fam.
Chennai folks reading this recommendation will be happy to know that the Underbaked is here because yes, we know, that's what matters the most. But they also have brioche ice cream sandwiches and we tried just the brioche and we quite liked the buttery bun. Also on offer are chocobars – we tried the one with a vanilla-raspberry filling and it's an easy winner. Plus, don't miss out on their small collection of ice cream cakes and baked goodies.
Since it's ice cream that we came here for, we're happy to report flavours such as Five Bean Vanilla, Umami Mami (that's got addictive salty almost miso-like flavour notes), and Malted Milk & Chocolate are there for you to get scoops of. Mami's Filter Kaapi is there too and it's one of their popular flavours. We like a fruit-forward flavour and the Strawberry Sorbet hits all the right notes with its sweet and tart flavour. Oh, and please pick the cone over the cup – that's the best way to enjoy Amadora!
