Thai Chy, The name of this place means "Art of good life" and it lives up to it's name. The place has a very soothing ambience and excellent Pan Asian food. Prices are very reasonable too.
They have a nice range of mocktails as well which pair well with the food they offer.
What did I try and highly recommend:
1. Yellow Fellow mocktail - A great combination of Peach, Elder Flower and lime , this drink is very refreshing. I like the consistency of the drink too and highly recommend it.
2. Veg Crystal Dimsum - This is a must try as this reddish brown color dimsum is unlike anything I have eaten. It has a thin outer layer and is stuffed with celery, shitake mushrooms and water chestnuts. It is pure food nirvana.
3. Chilli Paneer Bao - I wasn't a huge fan of Baos till I ate this one. Usually the bun is thick and hard but this one was so fresh that it was melting in my mouth with every bite. The stuffing was delectable.
4. Tom Yum Soup - Spicy soup with flavourful lemongrass and kaffir lime infused in it. This was a great eat
5. If you like clear soup, then you must try the Spinach Wonton soup which is a healthier option.
6. Tofu Chilli Pepper with Five Spice - Soft and succulent pieces of tofu marinated well and cooked with the five spices. Suited to the Indian palate
7. Water Chestnut & Bamboo Shoots with Chilli Lemon Grass - A delicious starter which has a slightly tangy flavour to it .
8. Chili Garlic Lotus Stem - This was mind blowing ; I loved the crispiness of the lotus stem and the flavourful chili garlic sauce in which it was cooked ; Must order
9. Hong Kong Vegetables with Sesame Soya - Again a delightful eat ; this gravy had a lot of boiled vegetables and tasted scrumptious
10. Khao Paho - A great tasting fried rice
Desserts:
1. Water Chestnut Rubies in Sweet Coconut Milk with Crushed ice - A tad sweet but it has the goodness of litchi, water chestnut and coconut milk
2. Coconut Panna Cotta with Berry Compote - This was my absolute favorite ; The Panna Cotta was jiggly wiggly and very tasty . The berry compote was a great accompaniment to the panna cotta.
3. Lemongrass Ceramic Brulee - Not something I relished ; Can give this a skip
