Back for round two of the awesome Backdoors concept, The Humming Tree is already regaling us with a fine lineup of musicians. And it’s all going to be kicked off by… wait for it… Anderson .Paak, who is going to come to Bangalore. Other artists who will be taking the stage include metal act TesseracT, Wolf Alice, Divine and Prateek Kuhad. It’s on February 17, around Valentine’s Day, but pffft, who needs a date when you have a stellar lineup coming from all over the world just for you!

It’s really for anyone who appreciates good music. Even if you have not heard of the headlining act, there’s much to look forward to at the Backdoors gigs. A curated lineup of some of the best artistes, indie and sometimes commercial, the concert series is a fantastic way to learn about music, the different beats and understand what the rest of the world is listening to.
Why Should I Go For It?
The right question to ask is why you should not. Because then the answer is simple. There is NO reason to not to go. First off, guys, Anderson .Paak! Our favourite find from the last year {2016}, we listen to Malibu on loop for its easy breezy R&B vibes. Oh, those funk meets ballads have us in a tizzy as you can see. But we digress. There’s more reason that just him. There’s also his band The Free Nationals who’ll be here too. Plus, Wolf Alice {a cool alternative rock band from London}, Prateek Kuhad {surely he needs no introduction, y’all} and Watsky {from San Francisco}, among others. Local representation is in the form of When Chai Met Toast. So gather your tribe of music lovers, or even go solo, this one’s totally worth it.
