Yes, an Andhra Meal longing never really goes away and can hit under any circumstance (this lockdown being our major worry)! On the bright side, we've got Nandhana Palace that's still delivering it's kick-ass food, keeping in check all precautionary measures, of course. The carrier meal box that comes with the entire vegetarian meal and a banana leaf (yes, you can now dine in like a true Andhra meal fan) is still one of their best sellers. It comes loaded with rice, pappu (yum, yum, yum), poriyal, podi, pickle, chutney and payasam. Ah, the satisfaction after indulging in this one is real!
Aside from this, they've also got they're usual starters/appetisers that you can relish with your meal, we are thinking of the fiery Boneless Nellore-style Chicken Biryani, Mutton Fry, and a personal favourite, the Chilli Chicken (if you're non-vegetarian that is). Vegetarians, you've got Cauliflower Manchurian, Babycorn Chilli, and Bhindi Pepper Fry. Opt for the Veg and Non Veg Combos if you want a quick, no hassle lunch/dinner. The dessert section is pretty straight, with all of three sweets: Milk Cake, Gulab Jamun and Motichur Ladoo.
All of Nandhana's dishes are priced under INR 300 and come in portions easy enough to be shared and enjoyed.
