Mango, manga, mavinhannu, aam..we’ve all had memorable childhoods with the king of fruits. What better way to celebrate it than by spending time at Lalbagh with ripe and juicy mangoes. Selling 12 varieties at the annual mango mela, expect badami, mallika and kalapad. The fruits are organic and grown naturally so pamper yourself. The folks here are also selling ten varieties of jackfruit. Organised by the horticulture department, you can find stalls at Cubbon Park and at the metro stations of Baiyapanahalli, Mysore road, Indiranagar and Peenya. Going on till June 24, head to the festival with your family and maybe even have a picnic on the lawn with fruits for snacks!
