What Makes It Awesome

Elevate your style with Kashmiri and Kutch embroidered sarees, salwar, and kurtas from Anoothi. If you love handlooms and everything handcrafted then head straight to Anoothi and add some hand embroidered pieces to your wardrobe. Anoothi, a designer boutique in HSR Layout was started by Rathi Mathur Bhatt around 2010. They stock up on sarees, salwar, kurtas, and Indo-western wear for women and predominantly focus on handlooms such as tussar silk, ajrakh, jamdani, and pure cotton. Their collection of crepe sarees with intricate Kashmiri embroidery is particularly our favourite.

With motifs filled with paisleys, floral elements, and mandalas, the sarees are filled with embroidery done with fine thread or known as resham ka dhaaga, in bright colours of blues, pinks, reds, and oranges. Not just sarees, find unstitched and semi-stitched salwar sets with embroidered yokes in Kashmiri style and also kutch embroidery with mirror work paired with chiffon bandhani dupattas in bright red, pink and blue. Each saree and salwar set is designed by Rathi and embroidery is done intricately by artists based out of Kashmir and the Rann of Kutch (Gujarat).

The prices for outfits at Anoothi ranges from INR 1,250 and goes up to INR 30,000. If you are looking for ready-made kurta sets, they've got that covered for you. With crystal sequins on the neckline, their georgette kurtas are perfect for a party or a family dinner. However, the readymade stock is slightly limited compared to the semi or unstitched ones. You can pick the fabric and she would stitch the entire garment for you as she also offers customised tailoring to her customers.
