What Makes It Awesome

I was with a friend to Kalyan Nagar's hole-in-the-wall Appam Corner. Started over 13 years ago by Varghese and his wife, Mini Varghese (both from Kerala), the tiny place has no seating and offers a limited menu for breakfast and dinner.
we tried what seems to be their most popular combo – the appam and fish curry. We almost fell in love with the soft, fluffy appams.

My friend took Kerala porotta with chicken curry, all prepared in true Kerala-style. They also have idiyappams, chapathis, delicious Chicken Stew, Egg Curry and veg options like Kadala Curry and Veg Stew.

The best part? With veg combos at Rs. 60 and non-veg at Rs. 80, a filling meal won't cost you more than Rs. 100!

Ohh yeah, it's closed on Mondays.
